How to cut Jeans with original hem/bottom intact - This time its not food but fashion recipe


Cutting jeans length with original hem intact (bottom)



We all love to wear new cloths But sometime it need alteration depend on our size while keeping originality of jeans in this case. I had this issue with denim jeans. Problem I had was when I use to cut the denim according to my length and sew it was loosing its originality on bottom/hem so I thought what is the best way to keep original hem. So i found the right way to short denim pants and wants to share with you as I also got helped from other so it's good to share.

Step by step approach

1. Take your denim pants and mark your desire length form the waist.

2. Mark on both the sides which is right/left leg

3. check the measurement from hem as well

4. fold this with the marked line.

5. And make sure measurement is correct

6. Now use pins to fix the fabric in desire length.

7. side stitch (red stitch) should be in the same line.

8. Take matching spool/thread and bobbin.

9. Try sewing toward the hem as close possible to reduce difference

10. keep continue.

11. stitching should be equal from all side.

12. Sewing done.

13. now start zig zag stitch from half inch away to hem for doing interlock

14. this zig zag is like locking cloth for further cutting

15. zig zag will give strength also

16. Now cut the access cloth

17. Otherwise it will be look clumsy.

18. Now fold it.

19. start sewing from upper side

20. this sewing should be in the corner to keep inside one attach and finish

21. ‎keep continue with the finishing.

22. ‎Now it's done it should give original feel
