Aloo ki Masala Dosa Vali Sabji - Potato masala for dosa

This is my first recipe and I think it will be interesting to post simple, easy and might be quick to make. I belong to marwari family and you will get the same taste of marwari food in all my recipes.

Dosa Aloo Sabji (Potato masala for dosa) - This is the mixture which get stuffed in Masala Dosa! I like this so much that I cook and eat with roti (Indian bread) without dosa as well.

This Aloo Sabji (Dish) is

  • Easy to cook - Need very less stuff to make 
  • Quick - can be made in just 10-15 mins 
  • very tasty to eat



Quick recipe- Serves 2

  1. Boiled the aloo (potato) for 8-10 mins and peal off and cut in small meshed peaces  
  2. Put 2 table spoon oil in Pan start heating 
  3. After a min of oil heating in pan mix Rai (black mustard seed)& Jeera  (Cumin seed)
  4. Then put kadi pata (Curry tree)
  5. Then put chopped onion and green chopped chilly in oil and sauté for 2-3 mins 
  6. Then put turmeric powder 1/4 spoon and salt according to taste ideally 3/4 spoon and saute for 2 mins
  7. Add boiled and meshed aloo (potato) in the pan and mix well for 1-2 mins  
  8. Then once it get heated for 2 mins add coriander (dhania) leafs ideally chopped to garnish
  9. Yummy sabji is ready to serve hot!

Step 3 - Then put chopped onion and green chopped chilly in oil and sauté for 2-3 mins Then put turmeric powder 1/4 spoon and salt according to taste ideally 3/4 spoon and saute for 2 min

Step 4 - Add boiled and meshed aloo (potato) in the pan and mix well for 1-2 mins  & then once it get heated for 2 mins add coriander (dhania) leafs ideally chopped to garnish




Yummy sabji is ready to serve hot! Enjoy with Bread (roti) or best is with Dosa!
